Light and dark, good and evil
Hot and cold, love and hate
Violence and peace
Harmony, discord
Harmony, discord
Planting, reaping, going about
Coming in and out
Coming in and out
Passing this way or that
Happiness, sadness
Laughter and tears
Happiness, sadness
Laughter and tears
War peace, birth and death
Ingesting nourishment or
Excreting waste…dark matter
Of which we are formed, molded
Excreting waste…dark matter
Of which we are formed, molded
Joy and ecstasy, depression and gloom
On and on it remains, in every realm
In the mind and in the heart
On and on it remains, in every realm
In the mind and in the heart
The duality of our very existence
Is ever present, the reality
Is ever present, the reality
Manifested and yet, invisible and hidden
Love can be felt or it is made to manifest
Yet is a force invisible
Yet is a force invisible
As is hate and contempt
As is the body in relation to the soul
Light, by nature, needs the dark to be known
As a mother needs the child or the lover
To express her outpouring of eternal love
To express her outpouring of eternal love
So as to manifest infinite compassion
The light is generous as a mother's love
Is generous and giving
Is generous and giving
As the arms of a lover, the beautiful archetype
Of the angel of paradise, or Sophia
Of the angel of paradise, or Sophia
In the female form, in it's essence
Wise and caring, inclusive, standing alone
Simply joy and love, a radiant fire
Ever ready to share and caress
That which seeks comfort
A port of call for the lonely and the forgotten
The dark, by it's very nature
Seeks itself over and over
Wise and caring, inclusive, standing alone
Simply joy and love, a radiant fire
Ever ready to share and caress
That which seeks comfort
A port of call for the lonely and the forgotten
The dark, by it's very nature
Seeks itself over and over
Selfish, egoistic, centered on itself only
To replicate it's nature in
A hundred thousand million forms
The urge, the desire, to capture light
And imprison the elation of illuminated joy
Caring not whether others will see or need it
A hundred thousand million forms
The urge, the desire, to capture light
And imprison the elation of illuminated joy
Caring not whether others will see or need it
Like a mother who has been hurt by her offspring
Or the young woman spurned
In the name of love
In the name of love
Having shared divine secrets
Being what she could only be
A lover, compassionate, generous with her gifts
She, the feminine, the representation
Of all translucent light
Giving and true
Unable to exist in any other manner
Being what she could only be
A lover, compassionate, generous with her gifts
She, the feminine, the representation
Of all translucent light
Giving and true
Unable to exist in any other manner
Cleverly, she imparts a part of herself
In every act and footstep
Of the rebellious, sometimes mischievous child
In every act and footstep
Of the rebellious, sometimes mischievous child
So as to thwart the essence which is of the dark
The habit of darkness, negativity, condescending
The habit of darkness, negativity, condescending
Lovingly illuminating the child's path
With positivism, imparting knowledge
Or nonetheless inspiring the hurtful lover's
Purposeful nightmare, intent is he to leave a scar
On her heart, cruelly ripping it from her very soul
Yet she hides depression's opposites
Imparting hope and aspiration
Despite the wounding
With positivism, imparting knowledge
Or nonetheless inspiring the hurtful lover's
Purposeful nightmare, intent is he to leave a scar
On her heart, cruelly ripping it from her very soul
Yet she hides depression's opposites
Imparting hope and aspiration
Despite the wounding
So that it might seem as but a dream to
Unimportant, a play of sorts, sans relevance
Unimportant, a play of sorts, sans relevance
While all the while she, the Mother herself
The true lover, the compassionate one
Endures bravely all pain and disappointment
The true lover, the compassionate one
Endures bravely all pain and disappointment
Silently, she remains stoic, knowing well her role
As the balance of the universe depends on her
Why does she do this?
Why is she, the universal Mother
Willing to suffer so, embracing pain and hardship
As the balance of the universe depends on her
Why does she do this?
Why is she, the universal Mother
Willing to suffer so, embracing pain and hardship
In the name of love
Falling for the same lies again and again
Willing to sacrifice for the benefit
Of those who hurt her?
Light is love and love is light
Falling for the same lies again and again
Willing to sacrifice for the benefit
Of those who hurt her?
Light is love and love is light
Crystal and pure, illumination eternal
She cannot fathom anything else
Nor be what she is not meant to be
This is the heavenly Mother, the universal lover
The caretaker, manifested on Earth and in Heaven
God's true messenger was never
A bearded patriarch of the desert
Warning and scolding with threats
Amid portents and visions of potential doom
He was but a messenger, affected by her love
Moses and Zibora, Jesus and Mary Magdalene
Mohammed and Khadija, Ali and Fatima
Mani and Chloe, there on the banks of the Tigris
All affected by the divine presence of the feminine
Touching their lives, filling their souls
With divine lava, hot and fiery...
Like volcanoes they would become, exploding!
Who could control their passion after hearing
The song of songs
Sung by a million celestial voices
A chorus of angels and an orchestra of cherubim?
Flutes of luminosity and harps of gladness
Blending their tones
In a symphony of sheer delight
Providing music for the divine dance
Of Shiva or Saraswati
Queen of the Cosmos!
Seek her, listen to her voice
Chanting her hymn deep within your heart space
Be kind, if ye are wise
For her gifts are eternal, as it is her very nature
To give rather than to receive
Her joy is in knowing that you share these secrets
Utilize them, apply them
For she is light itself, content with being a beacon
A ray of eternal luminosity...
This is all we need to know
She cannot fathom anything else
Nor be what she is not meant to be
This is the heavenly Mother, the universal lover
The caretaker, manifested on Earth and in Heaven
